Jake Paul responds to Tyron Woodley getting ‘I love Jake Paul’ tattoo following pre-fight bet

Written by on September 28, 2021

Even Jake Paul is shocked that former UFC champion Tyron Woodley actually got his name tattooed across his finger after they made a pre-fight wager prior to their boxing match in August.

Woodley agreed to get “I love Jake Paul” tattooed somewhere on his body if he lost to the YouTube celebrity turned boxer — and he ultimately fell by split decision after eight rounds.

On Monday, Woodley finally revealed his follow through on the wager after inking “I love Jake Paul” across his middle finger and now Paul has offered up his official response.

“No way did a grown ass man just get a tattoo that says I love Jake Paul!” Paul said in a video posted to his YouTube channel. “This is my official response to Tyron Woodley getting the tattoo.”

At that point in the video, Paul spits out a piece of paper that was hiding in his mouth and when he unfolds it the message reads “I love you too.”

Paul then concludes his response by saying “can I grab those cheeks now, papi?”

Following their fight, Woodley agreed to get the tattoo only if Paul agreed to give him a rematch after he believed the judges made the wrong call with the scorecards.

While Paul agreed in the ring, he later took aim at Woodley for adding another condition to the pre-fight bet that was made where both fighters agreed that the loser would get the winner’s name tattooed on them.

By all accounts, Woodley isn’t any closer to actually getting the rematch but he followed through on his promise to get the ink done and now he’ll get to stare at Paul’s name forever.
