The Premier League is back in action on Saturday.
Who’s Playing
- Chelsea @ Burnley
- Current Records: Chelsea 14-3-8; Burnley 3-10-12
What to Know
Chelsea and Burnley played to a draw at Stamford Bridge and now head to Turf Moor to break the series tie. Chelsea will take on Burnley at 10 a.m. ET on Saturday after a week off. Chelsea has a defense that allows only 0.72 goals per game, so Burnley’s offense will have their work cut out for them.
It was all tied up nothing to nothing at the half for Chelsea and Crystal Palace two weeks ago, but Chelsea stepped up in the second half for a 1-0 win.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up nothing to nothing at halftime, but Burnley was not quite Leicester City’s equal in the second half when they met on Tuesday. Burnley fell to the Foxes 2-0.
Chelsea’s victory lifted them to 14-3-8 (third place with 50 points) while Burnley’s loss dropped them down to 3-10-12 (18th place with 21 points). We’ll see if Chelsea can repeat their recent success or if Burnley bounces back and reverse their fortune.
