NFL football pool, pick’em, office pool, confidence picks: Back the Rams in Week 2, 2022

The Minnesota Vikings were one of the most talked-about teams during the offseason since they have several bright stars in running back Dalvin Cook and wide receiver Justin Jefferson. Cook and Jefferson led Minnesota to a 23-7 win over Green Bay in Week 1, with Cook rushing for 90 yards and Jefferson catching nine passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns. The Vikings were just one of six home teams to win in Week 1, though, so should you continue targeting road teams in your Week 2 NFL office pool picks and NFL predictions? There are also more NFL injuries to account for heading into Week 2 than there were in Week 1, so it is important to seek out quality NFL advice for your NFL confidence pool picks as you head into the second week. Before you make your NFL predictions, you need to see the Week 2 NFL football pool picks from SportsLine’s proven model.
The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up more than $7,500 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception. The model enters Week 2 of the 2022 NFL season on an incredible 139-98 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.
More importantly for NFL confidence pool players, the model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past six years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94% of CBS Sports Football Pick’em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

Top Week 2 NFL office pool predictions
One of the top Week 2 NFL predictions from the model: The Los Angeles Rams (-10.5) comfortably beat the Atlanta Falcons. Unfortunately for Atlanta, the reigning Super Bowl champions will be focused and motivated for this matchup. Los Angeles is coming off a season-opening loss to Buffalo in primetime, so the Rams will try to get back on track in Week 2.
They have had extra time to prepare for this game after opening their campaign on a Thursday night, while Atlanta is on normal rest following its 27-26 loss to New Orleans on Sunday. The Falcons are in a flat spot emotionally after allowing 17 fourth-quarter points and blowing a 16-7 halftime advantage against the Saints. They do not have enough offensive weapons to keep pace with Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp and Los Angeles’ rushing attack.
SportsLine’s model projects Stafford to throw for more than 300 yards and at least two touchdowns, while Cam Akers and Darrell Henderson are combining for more than 100 rushing yards in the latest simulations. Atlanta quarterback Marcus Mariota is expected to throw at least one interception, one reason why Los Angeles wins in almost 80% of simulations.
