Drake and PartyNextDoor have intentionally released a few songs for their fans, but one track recently made its way to viewers via a leak.
“Bricks” may be an old track, given its similarities to other songs. It has the same Moodymann sample as the one heard on “Passionfruit” and a similar lyric to one used in WizKid’s “Come Closer.” It’s believed the nearly seven-minute song may have been recorded around the time of Drake’s More Life mixtape, and is one of a few Drizzy songs that recently leaked on the internet. A reference track for Beyoncé named “Heat” was leaked, as was his collab with Lil Wayne titled “Startrax,” which may have been from Tha Carter V.
Travis Scott and Metro Boomin were also hit, as their unreleased songs were shared through leaks. The leaking spree included Travis’ “Naked” featuring Bon Iver, likely from 2012’s Own Pharoah; “Poet Paradise” and “Get Off Me” featuring DJ Drama and Kid Cudi, which may be from the nixed Travis and Cudi album; and “Gold Blackberry,” potentially off his highly anticipated UTOPIA album.
Metro Boomin’s collab with Travis, 21 Savage and James Black, titled “Till Further Notice,” was also included. It’s believed to have been from his Heroes & Villains album.
