Teyana Taylor abided by the theme for the 2023 Met Gala, but she did her own thing when it came to the food she consumed. The star brought some food from Chik-fil-A to the event, opting out of the menu, which included salmon, asparagus and pea soup.
Pusha T captured Teyana’s meal on his Instagram Story, joking, “@teyanataylor is embarrassing me. She brought @chicfilausa to the #MetGala. I want her away from me…#HARLEM.”
In another clip, which showed Tey as she enjoyed her meal, he claims, “@usher tried to stop her…”
At the Met Gala Monday night, Teyana donned a Thom Browne tuxedo dress in honor of the theme, “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.”
“On Monday’s we address her as Petunia Lagrfeld,” she wrote on Instagram when reflecting on her night. “Assignment OVERSTOOD! @thombrowne you stole the night you f****** genius. Thank you for everything.”
“RIP TO THE BELOVED KARL LAGERFELD. I hope we did you proud,” she continued.
