Wu-Tang: An American Saga comes to an end with its series finale Wednesday. After three seasons of playing Wu-Tang Clan member Raekwon, actor Shameik Moore shared what he hopes fans will take away from watching this season — and the entire series.
“I am optimistic about just the whole idea about Wu-Tang, the community,” he tells ABC Audio. “I hope that they can look at everything season 1, season 2 and season 3 and see … there’s a message in there for our community.”
He adds, “I hope at the end of this season they think about the whole story. That’s what I personally want.”
Siddiq Saunderson also did some reminiscing and shared what he’ll miss most about playing Ghostface Killah.
“I’m gonna miss his, the grandness of who he is, you know, whether it’s in his style or the way that he talk[s] or just his swag, like the overall swag of who he is and how much space he takes up when he enters a room. Like, I really love playing a character like that. That’s kind of how I am, too,” he says. “But I think being able to go to a set and always lead with that, it … was amazing.”
“I also think I’m gonna miss working with my beautiful costar [Zolee Griggs] and being able to just kind of play and live in the natural love of our characters and us as people,” he continues. “So definitely going to miss those two things.”
An American Saga is out now on Hulu.
