Frank Ocean will not be performing at weekend two of Coachella.
Ocean’s PR rep confirms to ABC News that he suffered two fractures and a sprain in his left leg — an injury he sustained on festival grounds leading up to his weekend one performance. On “doctor’s advice,” he’ll be sitting out this weekend.
While Ocean was still adamant to perform last Sunday, the performance needed to be completely reworked in just 72 hours.
“It was chaotic,” Ocean says in a statement. “There is some beauty in chaos. It isn’t what I intended to show but I did enjoy being out there and I’ll see you soon.”
Variety reports Blink-182 will take over Ocean’s headlining slot.
