Despite claiming she’s “single” a few times, Yung Miami‘s relationship status with Diddy is still not clear to some — so much so that the twosome were asked to address it once again when they attended the Met Gala together Monday.
“Do y’all officially go together real bad?” LaLa Anthony, for Vogue, asked Diddy, who initially attempted to dodge the question as sweat formed on his forehead. With some pressure applied, he then responded, “We definitely go together real bad!” He added, “She’s my date for the night.”
“We don’t put titles on it. Everybody wants us to put a title on it, we don’t put titles,” he said. “This like my best friend in the world, one of the most beautiful people God has blessed me with. And I’m blessed that she’s my date tonight.”
Yung Miami cosigned the statement, noting, “Yeah, it’s just a good date night.”
The question about Miami and Diddy’s relationship stems from Miami’s Caresha Please episode, in which she noted that she and the Bad Boys CEO go together “real bad.” She’s since claimed she’s single in an interview with Billboard, and told The Cut, “We’re still good friends! But we’re single. That’s not my man.”
