Fantasy football 2024 rankings, sleepers, cheat sheets, streamers for Week 4 for PPR, standard leagues

Now with three games under your belt, it’s time to make potentially tough Fantasy football start-sit decisions with underperforming veterans. Players like Justin Herbert, D’Andre Swift, Brandon Aiyuk, Travis Kelce, and Dalton Schultz haven’t produced much in 2024, forcing managers to contemplate if they should factor into a Week 4 Fantasy football strategy. The struggles of Anthony Richardson have negatively affected Pittman, who was a top-25 Fantasy receiver a year ago, but is the WR78 currently. With Indianapolis set to face Pittsburgh’s defense, which has allowed both the fewest points and fewest yards, it could be clear on what to do with Pittman in the Week 4 Fantasy football WR rankings. Should the other aforementioned players suffer the same fate and have their Week 4 Fantasy football projections downgraded? Before you lock in your Fantasy football lineups, be sure to check out the Week 4 Fantasy football rankings from the advanced computer model at SportsLine.

When it comes to ranking players, SportsLine’s model beat human experts in Fantasy football for the past several seasons, especially when there were big differences in ranking. Over the course of a season, that could literally be the difference between winning your league or going home emptyhanded.

The same model has a proven track record providing Fantasy football tips, including being ahead of the curve on players like A.J. Brown, Jonathan Taylor, Derrick Henry, Christian McCaffrey, Alvin Kamara, and Jahmyr Gibbs. Anybody who banked on players like those made a run at their league title.

Now, the model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, has revealed its Fantasy football rankings for Week 3 of the 2024 NFL season. Head to SportsLine now to see them.

Top Week 4 Fantasy football picks

One surprise in Week 4: The model is fading Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams, who was started in 81% of CBS Sports PPR leagues last week after breaking out over the first two weeks of the season. Williams had 10 catches for 200 yards and a touchdown over the first two weeks and also rushed for 28 yards but he had a bust week against the Cardinals in Week 3.

Williams played a season-low 71% of snaps and he was only targeted three times, catching one pass for nine yards. He also had one carry where he lost seven yards and finished with two scrimmage yards on two touches. Now he’ll match up with a Seahawks defense that has only allowed 397 passing yards over the first three weeks (best in the league) and the model ranks him outside its top 40 wide receivers for Week 4.

Another curveball: The model is high on Bears tight end Cole Kmet. After just four yards in Week 1 and 27 yards in Week 2, Kmet broke out last Sunday with a 10-97-1 stat line. Caleb Williams had, by far, the best game of his pro career as Chicago shifted its passing offense to more short and intermediate routes to RBs and TEs than taking shots down the field to WRs. Bears’ running backs and tight ends had more targets in Week 3 (21) than over the first two weeks combined (19), with Kmet the primary benefactor.

He now gets to face a Rams defense which has allowed the fourth-most receiving yards to opposing tight ends, as well as the fourth-most Fantasy points to the position. Los Angeles has given up three passing touchdowns in back-to-back games, and there will be lots of big play opportunities as no defense is giving up more yards per play (6.8) than the Rams. Kmet has placed among the top eight tight ends in Fantasy points in each of the last two seasons, and the model has him as a top-eight option at the position this week. For more start/sit Fantasy football advice, be sure to check out the rest of the Week 4 Fantasy football rankings.

How to set Week 4 Fantasy football rankings

The model is also calling for a surprising quarterback owned in less than half of CBS Sports PPR leagues to finish in the top 10 of its Week 4 Fantasy football rankings. This pick could be the difference between winning big and going home with nothing. See the model’s entire Week 4 Fantasy football rankings for PPR and standard leagues here.
