Written by CBS SPORTS ALL RIGHTS RESERVED on October 10, 2025

Week 6 of the NFL season is finally here, and once again injuries are a major storyline — especially after several important players suffered injuries in Week 5 that could affect this week and even the remainder of the season. With the season nearly a third of the way over, it’s important for teams to stay healthy, but there are always going to be bumps and bruises and even long-term ailments to deal with each and every week.
With that in mind, in the space below, we’ll take a look at the final injury reports for every team set to play in Week 6 — and what each situation might mean for their chances to win on Sunday or Monday.

Denver Broncos (-7.5) vs. New York Jets — London
- Broncos: OLB Jonah Elliss (ribs/shoulder), G Ben Powers (biceps) OUT; DT Malcolm Roach (calf) QUESTIONABLE
- Jets: CB Michael Carter II (concussion), WR Allen Lazard (personal) OUT; CB Brandon Stephens (neck), LB Ja’Markis Weston (groin) QUESTIONABLE
Roach practiced in full on Thursday and Friday after being limited Wednesday. That would seem to point toward his being available on Sunday. Powers is still on IR and working his way back into the lineup. Elliss’ absence will somewhat deplete the edge rush depth chart.
The Jets could be without a pair of corners here, as Stephens was limited on Friday after not being on the injury report on Wednesday or Thursday. Lazard did not travel with the team to London.
Los Angeles Rams (-7.5) at Baltimore Ravens
- Rams:
- Ravens:
Analysis to come.
Dallas Cowboys (-3) at Carolina Panthers
- Cowboys:
- Panthers: RB Chuba Hubbard (calf), RT Taylor Moton (elbow), DT Tershawn Wharton (toe), CB Akayleb Evans (hamstring) OUT; CB Mike Jackson (ribs), CB Chau Smith-Wade (chest), TE Ja’Tavion Sanders (ankle), WR Jalen Coker (quadriceps) QUESTIONABLE
The Panthers will have Rico Dowdle filling in for Hubbard again, and they’ll be without an important piece of their offensive line. Sanders was limited on Friday and appears to be at least getting closer to playing. If the corners can’t go, Carolina will be very shorthanded in the secondary against an explosive Dallas passing game. Coker currently remains on IR but could be activated here.
Arizona Cardinals at Indianapolis Colts (-7)
- Cardinals:
- Colts:
Analysis to come.
Seattle Seahawks at Jacksonville Jaguars (-1.5)
- Seahawks:
- Jaguars:
Analysis to come.
Los Angeles Chargers (-4.5) at Miami Dolphins
- Chargers: OT Joe Alt (ankle), WR Derius Davis (knee), DE Da’Shawn Hand (groin), OT Trey Pipkins (knee) OUT; OLB Bud Dupree (hamstring), WR Quentin Johnston (hamstring), DT Scott Matlock (ankle), MLB Denzel Perryman (ankle), G Jamaree Salyer (knee) QUESTIONABLE
- Dolphins:
The Chargers remain incredibly banged up pretty much everywhere, including and especially up front on offense. They’ll be starting multiple backups along the offensive line, and of course they’ll also be without both Omarion Hampton and Najee Harris in the backfield. If Johnston is out, more of the passing game will flow through Ladd McConkey and Keenan Allen. The linebacker corps could be affected here as well with both Dupree and Perryman listed questionable.
New England Patriots (-3.5) at New Orleans Saints
- Patriots: RB Antonio Gibson (knee), S Jaylinn Hawkins (hamstring), DE Keion White (elbow), LB Anfernee Jennings (ankle) OUT; LB Marte Mapu (neck/hamstring), CB Christian Gonzalez (hamstring), CB Charles Woods (knee) QUESTIONABLE
- Saints: CB Isaac Yiadom (hamstring) OUT; RB Alvin Kamara (ankle), DT John Ridgeway (shoulder) QUESTIONABLE
Gibson tore his ACL last week but hasn’t yet been placed on injured reserve. The New England defense is going to be shorthanded here, and could be even more so if star cornerback Gonzalez can’t play. He did get in limited practice sessions on both Thursday and Friday and has played each of the last two games.
Kamara was limited in practices throughout the week. If he can’t go, the Saints will use a lot of Kendre Miller. Ridgeway remains on injured reserve and is working his way back into the lineup.
Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers (-5.5)
- Browns: DT Mike Hall Jr. (knee) OUT
- Steelers:
Cleveland is very healthy here for Dillon Gabriel’s second career start.
Tennessee Titans at Las Vegas Raiders (-4.5)
- Titans:
- Raiders:
Analysis to come.
Cincinnati Bengals at Green Bay Packers (-14)
- Bengals: DE Shemar Stewart (ankle) DOUBTFUL; WR Ja’Marr Chase (illness), G Dylan Fairchild (knee), C Matt Lee (knee), G Lucas Patrick (calf) QUESTIONABLE
- Packers:
The big news for the Bengals is that Chase was sent home Friday after reporting that he felt sick on Thursday night. If he can’t go, it would significantly hamper their offense in what should be Joe Flacco’s first start. The interior of the offensive line is a bit banged up as well with three players listed as questionable.
San Francisco 49ers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3)
- 49ers:
- Buccaneers:
Analysis to come.
Detroit Lions at Kansas City Chiefs (-2.5) — Sunday night
- Lions:
- Chiefs: N/A
Everyone is healthy for Kansas City after Xavier Worthy returned to practice on Friday.
Buffalo Bills (-4.5) at Atlanta Falcons — Monday
- Bills:
- Falcons:
Analysis to come.
Chicago Bears at Washington Commanders (-4.5) — Monday
- Bears:
- Commanders:
Analysis to come.
