2025 NFL Draft order: Giants control destiny for No. 1 pick after 10th straight loss, Raiders’ win vs. Jaguars

The New York Giants (2-13) are back on top of the 2025 NFL Draft order after suffering their 10th straight defeat, this time to rookie quarterback Michael Penix Jr. and the Atlanta Falcons. And with two weeks to play, they control their own destiny for the No. 1 pick.

Behind New York are the New England Patriots, who fought valiantly against the Buffalo Bills but came up three points short. After that, it’s the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns — all of whom also suffered defeats Sunday afternoon. The Las Vegas Raiders, who held the No. 1 pick entering Week 16, moved down to No. 6 after defeating the Jaguars for their third win of the season. There’s now a chance that the Raiders, one of the most quarterback-needy teams in the NFL, will miss out on one of the top prospects, namely Miami’s Cam Ward and Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders.
